HELEN COX (M.A. Contemporary Dance)
Helen Cox is a contemporary dance teacher, choreographer and performer based in London. Current and previous teaching roles include the Royal Ballet School; Rambert School of Dance; Royal Opera House; Trinity Laban; New English Ballet Theatre and Central School of Ballet. Helen’s formative training took place at the School of Alberta Ballet and School of Toronto Dance Theatre in Canada and London Contemporary Dane School. Helen has received funding from Alberta Foundation for the Arts Individual Artist Grant 2009 – 2015, the Canadian Kathryn Ash Leadership Award in 2012, and was shortlisted for the Deutsche Bank Award for Creative Enterprise in 2015. She is currently a mentee with the Prince’s Trust Enterprise Program and founder of [openclass].

JULIAN DAVID LEWIS (B.A. Hons)
Julian graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a First Class Honours degree in 2013. He went on to complete a UK and international tour as a member of EDge, the postgraduate dance company of London Contemporary Dance School. During the year, he performed in several works by renowned choreographers including Ben Wright, Trisha Brown, Yael Flexer, Joe Moran and Idan Cohen. Julian has performed in many other projects at venues including the Royal Opera House, The Place, and the Royal Albert Hall for the 2015 BBC Proms as well as joining a project with Cascade Dance Theatre and the cast of Pinot! The Musical at the New Wimbledon Theatre. Since August 2015, Julian has been a dancer for Wales-based Ffin Dance performing in several works and taking a leading role in participatory projects. Julian is Artistic Co-Director of Traceworks Dance, a professional contemporary dance company based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
As a freelance dance teacher, Julian teaches and choreographs regularly for the classes & courses department at The Place, Greenwich Leisure Limited, DSP Performing and is the Artistic Director of B40 Youth Dance Company.
JAMES AIDEN KAY (B.A. Hons)
James trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance gaining a First Class Honours degree. Upon graduating he toured the UK and Europe with EDge, the postgraduate dance company of London Contemporary Dance School. James performed repertoire from renowned choreographers Trisha Brown, Yael Flexer and new work by Ben Wright. James’ credits include the Royal Opera House, the Royal Albert Hall for BBC Proms and new creations for Hack Ballet, IJAD Dance Company and Summit Dance Theatre. James joined the Cohan Collective 2016 created by Robert Cohan and Yorke Dance Project and is Artistic Co-Director of Traceworks Dance, a professional contemporary dance company based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
As a freelance dance teacher, James teaches and choreographs regularly for the creative learning department at The Place, Greenwich Leisure Limited, DSP Performing and Sara Williams Drama.
